1. Jabot on women's garment it is a full frill at the neck, sometimes worn with a ornamental pin at the throat. On men shirt fronts were trimmed with pleated jabots.
2. Jerkin a type of outer doublet, vest made from hide and the sleeves from rich cloth.
3. Jubon long sleeved camisole which buttoned all the way down popular in sixteenth century Spain.
4. Jupe skirt being the corresponding modern definition. It was worn by both sexes until the end of the seventeenth century, when it disappeared from men's fashion with the exception of panels in certain garments.
